Save It for a Rainy Day!

With the clocks going forward this weekend and spring hard on our sturdy winter heels, I thought it would be an appropriate time to write a farewell post to winter knits all those lovely, rich autumnal hues. Although I favour a sunny day over a frosty evening, the colder seasons present us with such a wonderful array of textures, fabrics and warming colours. I simply adore shades such as mustard yellow, rusty orange, coffee, camel and chocolate, and there is nothing like a bit of fur and tweed to melt a frozen heart. So with the help of a box of dried roses, a pair of antlers and a couple of bits of wood, I bid farewell to a few of my favourite cold weather outfits and prepare for the eve of spring...
